Cottonwood Falls is a cascade which bursts into a free fall, vigorously splashing into a large colorful pool.  Located in Sullivan County PA this falls drops about 9 feet.  It is found within World's End State Park.  An easy 1/2 mile, green blazed, trail leads to the falls.  (NOTE:  When the green trail splits, in two directions, stay to the right)

I was here on March 7th 2017, a chilly and drizzly afternoon. These were good conditions for photographing the falls but not for comfort.  An impressive array of icicles and a flowing curtain of drips highlighted the east side in early March.
