Raymondskill Falls

Raymondskill Falls includes three separate plunges on Raymondskill Creek in Pike County PA.  It is located near the town of Milford.  A well built and maintained trail leads to both the head of the upper portion of the Falls and to a viewing platform near the middle portion's plunge pool.  From this platform a good view of the top of the lower portion of the Falls is easily enjoyed.  There is no established trail to the base of the lower portion of the Falls.  On this frigid December 28th of 2016, I was traveling alone and chose not to attempt an off trail steep and icy scramble down to the lower plunge pool.  NEXT TIME!

The top two sections of the falls are shown in the the photograph below.
After passing through the dark plunge pool show above, the falls continues into the third drop.  The three sections result in a total fall of 180 feet.  The top of the third section is shown below.  Notice the horse tail cascade plunging down the far side of this section.
