Bushkill Falls is a scenic attraction open to the public.  An entrance fee is charged.  This is a family owned enterprise, first opened by Charles Peters in 1904.  This is a rare example of private enterprise protecting, preserving and providing access to a rugged natural gem.

 

Bushkill Falls actually consists of 8 waterfalls enclosed in a steep and rugged gorge.  A series of trails provide access to the area.  The trails are constructed with many steep flights of stairs and decking.  With out this trail construction only rugged and daring individuals would ever get a glimpse of these impressive water falls.

The Little Bushkill Creek enters this gorge at Pennell Falls and rushes toward the Main Falls which drops about 100 ft.  After plunging through the gorge over numerous falls and cascades the Little Bushkill Creek enters the main Bushkill Creek which flows into the Delaware River.  Bushkill Falls is located in Pike County PA. at the southern end of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

Pond Run is a small tributary to the Little Bushkill.  Upper and Lower Bridesmaids Falls plus Bridal Veil Falls are located on this creek.
